LAHORE, Pakistan: Karachi Kings posted a formidable total of 204-4 against Multan Sultans in the 20th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Thursday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the Karachi Kings came out with an aggressive approach.
Openers Tim Seifert and captain David Warner provided a fiery start, racing to a 53-run opening partnership in just four overs.
The pair dominated the Multan Sultans’ bowling attack, dispatching boundaries with ease.
However, Multan Sultans struck back quickly. Ubaid Shah provided the breakthrough by dismissing Seifert for 20 off 11 balls.
In the very next over, David Willey removed Warner, who had scored a quickfire 30 off 13 deliveries, leaving the Karachi Kings at 57-2.
The slide continued as Ubaid Shah returned to remove Omair Bin Yousuf for just one, with Karachi Kings reduced to 58-3.

By the end of the 12th over, the Karachi Kings had recovered to 112-3, with Niazi unbeaten on 39 and Vince on 33.
The duo put on 78 runs together before Curtis Campher dismissed Niazi for 40 off 33 balls, breaking the stand in the 15th over.
James Vince continued to anchor the innings, reaching another well-crafted half-century in this year’s PSL.
He found support from Khushdil Shah, who launched a brisk counterattack from the outset.
