In a recent move to bolster their squad, the Kings signed dynamic Scottish opener George Munsey for the remaining matches of the tournament.
The announcement was made on Thursday through the team’s social platforms, welcoming the “prolific” left-hander with the message: “Scotland’s dynamic left-handed opener George Munsey joins Kings Squad.”
PSL debut
This will mark the 32-year-old’s debut appearance in the PSL. Munsey brings significant T20 experience, having featured in tournaments such as the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the International League T20 (ILT20), and England’s Vitality Blast.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the eagerly awaited schedule for the rest of the PSL 10 season.
The league will resume on 17 May with Karachi Kings facing Peshawar Zalmi at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The same venue will host a double-header on 19 May — with Quetta Gladiators playing Multan Sultans in the afternoon, followed by Peshawar Zalmi taking on Lahore Qalandars in the evening.
Rawalpindi’s final fixture of the season will see the reigning champions, Islamabad United, go head-to-head with Karachi Kings on the same day.
Subsequently, the action moves to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, which will stage the Qualifier on 21 May, Eliminator 1 on 22 May, and Eliminator 2 on 23 May.
The grand finale of PSL 10 is scheduled to take place on 25 May at the same venue.
