SEOUL: Concerned fans of the popular K-pop group Stray Kids have rallied together to demand the protection of member Felix, as he has recently been targeted with distressing death threats. The threats have escalated ahead of his scheduled event in China, raising serious concerns among supporters.

The individuals behind the threats claimed to have purchased a laser pen, which they intended to bring to the event with the intention of causing harm to the idol. Furthermore, they explicitly stated that if any harm were to befall Felix’s fellow band member, Hyunjin, they would attempt to inflict serious harm on Felix himself.

Disturbed by these threats, one fan voiced their concerns and presented evidence for the agency to take immediate action: “A certain psychopathic account on Weibo has been spreading misinformation and hate towards Hyunjin and other Stray Kids members. We are deeply worried for Hyunjin’s safety and hope that will take necessary measures to protect him and other members before the upcoming fan meeting.”

Safety of K-Pop Idols

Another fan highlighted the prolonged history of hate and defamation targeted at the rapper Felix: “For the past three years, Felix has endured a continuous stream of hate and false rumors about him and his family. Now, these individuals are threatening to permanently blind him. Unlike their previous death threats, this time, they possess the means to carry out their malicious intent during the fan sign event.”

The safety and well-being of K-pop idols have always been a matter of great concern for their dedicated fan base. As the threats against Felix intensify, fans are urging the relevant authorities to address the issue promptly and implement appropriate security measures to safeguard the members of Stray Kids.
