DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam F (JUI-F) supreme leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that his party has no issue with forming an alliance with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PLM-N), during the upcoming general election for the betterment of the country.

The JUI-F Chief said that while talking to the media on Tuesday, adding that during previous tenures, PML-N delivered to the country towards development and prosperity, and it was the reason his party was willing to work with PML-N in the future.

Fazal further said that it would not be the first time for both parties to go for the elections jointly as they had an alliance in the past, adding that usually, political parties plan alliances during the elections and respect each other mandate except for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) whose mandate was rejected by the entire nation.

Maulana Fazl also raised his concerns about the coming elections, saying that it would be a tough challenge for the election commission and relevant authorities to manage and establish polling stations in remote areas during the cold weather. He further said that due to the weather, there would be the possibility of low turnout from the voters, which could raise eyebrows on the process.

Fazlur Rehman Criticizes PTI Government

Maulana also criticized PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan for taking the country into economic and political crises with a poor foreign policy. Fazl further said that due to PTI’s poor performance, the country even lost confidence in its global allies during the PTI government.

The JUI-F Chief also blamed the PTI government for giving control of the country’s major financial institutions, including the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
