LOS ANGLES: American comedian, television host, Jimmy Fallon is reportedly eyeing an exit from his famous Tonight Show.

Jimmy Fallon started hosting The Tonight Show in 2014 after stepping down from Late Night show, which ran from 2009-2014.

According to a source quoted by RadarOnline.com, although Jimmy’s contract extends through 2028, he has personal reasons for considering an early exit from the popular show.

Providing further insight, the source told the outlet, “He would prefer to step away while still leading in the ratings.”

“But he’s realistic about this stuff, and he could even leave before his contract is up, if that’s the network’s decision,” they also claimed.

Elaborating on Jimmy’s farsightedness, the tipster mentioned, “He’s also dealing with a big question about the future of late-night TV in general, which is, how long can the party last?

“No matter what, it’s going away because of the general decline in broadcast TV,” they noted before moving to another topic.
