LOS ANGELES: American actress Jennifer Aniston’s romance with hypnotist Jim Curtis is reportedly flourishing, with sources close to the actress saying she feels she has “hit the jackpot” in her new relationship.

The Friends star, 55, and Curtis, 57, first sparked romance rumours in July when they were photographed together during the Independence Day weekend in Spain, vacationing with Aniston’s longtime friend Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka.

According to RadarOnline, the couple are now preparing to take their relationship to the next level by adopting a rescue puppy together.

“They’ve already started looking at pictures online of different dogs,” an insider told the outlet, adding that Aniston and Curtis see it as “a bonding experience, almost like having a newborn.”

Sources quoted by People said the relationship “feels different” for Aniston, who has kept a relatively low profile since confirming the romance this summer.

“Jim’s great. Her close friends love him. He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it,” one source said.

Curtis, an author, speaker and coach, was previously married to Rachel Napolitano, with whom he shares a teenage son.

He also briefly dated The Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel. On her podcast Just B with Bethenny Frankel, the reality star described him as “a nice guy” and said she was happy for Aniston.

“It does vibe with Jen Aniston,” she noted, referring to Curtis’s “earthy, mellow side.”

Aniston publicly acknowledged Curtis for the first time during the red-carpet premiere of season four of The Morning Show earlier this month.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the actress smiled when told Curtis seemed like “a really special guy.” Curtis attended the event in Los Angeles but entered separately, skipping the carpet.

The couple have since been spotted on several outings, including dinners with Bateman and his wife, and a double date with Aniston’s former Friends co-star Courteney Cox and her partner Johnny McDaid. Curtis was also seen supporting Aniston at an event for her haircare line.

Their latest appearance came on 5 September in New York City, where the pair enjoyed a date night. Aniston kept her look casual in light wash jeans, a white T-shirt and a tan blazer, according to Page Six.

Aniston, who divorced actor Justin Theroux in 2018 after three years of marriage, has reportedly told friends she feels especially optimistic about this relationship.

“Jen really does feel she’s hit the jackpot with Jim,” an insider told RadarOnline. “He’s kind, respectful and loves rescuing dogs. What could be better?”
