Senior representatives and delegates came together on Tuesday to plan for the upcoming Arab League summit, which will take place on May 19 in Jeddah.
The meeting was presided over by Abdul Rahman Al-Rasi, the multilateral affairs undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who also complimented Algeria for its efforts while it was the Arab League’s presidency in 2022.
Al-Rasi praised the delegation from Syria for coming to the meeting.
The official stated in a speech that the Kingdom keeps up its concrete efforts to promote progress, stability, prosperity, and peace in the area and around the world.
Al-Rasi also emphasized the wish of the Kingdom for all Arab nations to work together to fulfill the summit’s objectives in order to support collective Arab action and progress development in the Arab world.
