NEW JERSEY: Music icon JAY-Z has once again shown his unwavering support for small businesses, this time by purchasing paintings of his wife, Beyoncé, from a talented young artist named Lauryn Michele.

The aspiring artist had her artwork showcased on NBC News during Beyoncé’s two-night Renaissance tour stint at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Catching wind of the news segment, JAY-Z extended an invitation to Lauryn for the second night of the concert and surprised her by buying three of her captivating paintings featuring Beyoncé.

The heartwarming encounter was shared by Lauryn Michele on TikTok, where she posted a video capturing the news segment and the touching moment when she met JAY-Z to present him with the paintings.

JAY-Z’s Dedication to Supporting Small Businesses

This recent gesture highlights JAY-Z’s ongoing dedication to supporting small businesses and uplifting the community. Earlier, while in Chicago for one of Beyoncé’s performances, the music mogul visited the Bronzeville Soul restaurant, a Black-owned establishment he learned about through word of mouth. Impressed by the food and the restaurant’s Black ownership, he personally endorsed the eatery, leading to a substantial increase in business for the restaurant, which had faced challenges during the year.

JAY-Z’s commitment to backing Black-owned businesses and young artists demonstrates his dedication to empowering the community and making a positive impact.
