DUBAI: Japan’s Foreign Minister, Kamikawa Yoko, held a telephonic conversation with her counterpart from the United Arab Emirate (UAE), Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and discussed the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
Kamikawa, currently in Vietnam, expressed her deep concern about the situation in the region. She said that Japan has been in contact with both parties involved to facilitate de-escalation efforts.
On October 10th, FM KAMIKAWA, who is visiting Vietnam, held a telephone talk with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (#UAE), to discuss the situation surrounding #Palestine and #Israel.

Sheikh Abdullah conveyed his own apprehension about the situation and outlined the diplomatic initiatives that the UAE has undertaken since the conflict began, which Kamikawa commended. The Japanese minister expressed Tokyo’s keen interest in collaborating with the UAE to prevent any further escalation. Both leaders agreed to maintain close cooperation in addressing the crisis.
