Jamal Shah Visits Cultural Heritage Preservation Companies in China’s Beijing

BEIJING: Federal Minister for Heritage and Culture Syed Jamal Shah recently visited cultural heritage preservation companies in Beijing to discuss cultural collaboration and explore potential partnerships in restoring historical artifacts.

During the visit to the Leshi Cultural Reic Company, the delegation visited the cultural artifact preservation and restoration facilities. Jamal Shah praised the company for its exceptional cultural preservation techniques and notable restoration accomplishments, as reported by CEN.

Recognizing the immense value of such cooperation, both parties engaged in productive discussions focusing on garnering support for preserving and restoring Pakistan’s cultural treasures.

They also discussed promoting research visits and academic exchanges among conservation experts. Additionally, they agreed to establish a strategic partnership between the relevant institutions of the Pakistani Ministry of Heritage and Culture and the Leshi Cultural Reic Company.

Subsequently, the delegation visited Haoyu World Company, a prominent 3D technology firm specializing in preserving cultural heritage.

Li Fei, who heads the company’s cultural heritage division, showcased Haoyu 3D’s accomplishments in the digital preservation and utilization of cultural heritage, highlighting their successful preservation of cave sculptures associated with the Silk Road.

Jamal Shah expressed optimism for further technological cooperation and exchange, recognizing the potential for cultural advancements and significant economic benefits for China and Pakistan. —APP
