LAHORE: Italian Ambassador Andreas Ferraris called on caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi here in Lahore on Sunday.
During the meeting, both discussed increasing cooperation in the fields of tourism, culture, and mutual trade.
CM Naqvi said that the time had come to turn the mutual ties between Pakistan and Italy into a useful economic partnership, and the exchange of trade and cultural delegations would give a new dimension to the relations.
The chief minister said that through a one-window operation, all NOCs will be available under one roof, and there are abundant investment opportunities for Italian investors in the province of Punjab.
He also thanked the Italian envoy for Italy’s support to Pakistan over GSP Plus status.
Ambassador for Expanded Cooperation
Andreas Ferraris said that he would further expand the ongoing cooperation with the Punjab government in different fields.
