JAHANIAN: The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen has promised to fulfill the dream of a ‘Naya Pakistan’ during the party’s inaugural power show on Saturday.

Addressing the IPP’s maiden power show in Jehanian, Jahangir Tareen revisited the ideals and aspirations that initially led him and other IPP leaders to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He highlighted their vision to bring about comprehensive change and economic improvement in Pakistan.

Tareen acknowledged that ten years ago, they united with the aim of making Pakistan a better nation and devised a comprehensive plan for progress across all sectors. However, he regretfully noted that their dreams remained unfulfilled.

Without explicitly naming PTI’s leader, Imran Khan, Tareen voiced his concerns about the gradual replacement of the original team with individuals who did not share the same vision. He believed that PTI had fallen into the hands of those who lacked a genuine commitment to Pakistan’s well-being.

Jahangir Tareen emphasized that they had now come together under the banner of IPP to complete the mission they initiated a decade ago. He maintained that they were not defeated and remained dedicated to transforming Pakistan into a better state. Tareen stressed the importance of focusing on the people and the country rather than personalities.

He also expressed concerns about the emigration of young people in search of a better future and pledged to provide employment opportunities to create a brighter outlook for the youth, making Pakistan an attractive place to reside.

Aleem Khan Outlines People-centric Manifesto for Pakistan

Earlier, IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan addressed the inaugural power show and outlined a people-centric manifesto for Pakistan.

Among the promises, Aleem Khan promised to give 300 units of electricity free, discounted petrol for bike owners, and fix laborers’ wages at Rs 50,000 if the IPP came into power. Moreover, the party committed to providing free electricity to farmers for up to 12.5 acres of land.

The IPP also expressed its desire to establish modern hospitals in the underdeveloped areas of South Punjab, akin to those in Islamabad.

Jahangir Tareen officially launched the “Istehkam-e-Pakistan” party on June 8, as he embarked on a new political journey.
