Israel’s Prime Minister Likely to Visit India

NEW DELHI: Israel’s envoy to India, Naor Gilon on Sunday said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is likely to visit India in the first half of the current year.

Reports said that India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Netanyahu to visit India during a telephone conversation earlier.

Israel’s ambassador said that the two sides also spoke about meeting soon. He said that Netanyahu will be able to meet with Modi. The ambassador said that Netanyahu’s new government will do a lot of things in the first months.

He said that the Israeli Prime Minister is likely to visit India in the first half of the year. Benjamin Netanyahu took oath as the Prime Minister of Israel on December 29th following, he signed deals with far-right, Ultra-orthodox, and extremist parties.
