ISLAMABAD: At least 10 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire in Gaza since dawn, Al Jazeera reported on Friday.

Among them were five Palestinians killed in an Israeli strike on a camp for displaced people in southern Gaza, staff at the Nasser Medical Complex confirmed. Ten others were wounded in the strike.

According to Al Jazeera, at least five people, including three women and a child, have been killed following an Israeli bombardment that hit tents sheltering people forcibly displaced by the Israeli military in southern Gaza.

Al Jazeera cited sources from Nasser Hospital as saying the strike on the so-called al-Mawasi “safe zone” also wounded at least 20 people.

Israel’s war on Gaza

Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 58,667 people and wounded 139,974, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Earlier, Al Jazeera reported that Gaza health ministry has released its latest casualty figures, stating that 94 dead Palestinians were brought to hospitals in the enclave during the past 24 hours.

According to the ministry, of the 94 deceased Palestinians, 26 were killed while seeking humanitarian aid.

Additionally, at least 367 injured Palestinians have also arrived at Gaza hospitals in the last 24 hours, including more than 32 who were hurt seeking aid, according to Al Jazeera.

Since the contentious US and Israel-backed GHF food distribution scheme was launched in May, at least 877 Palestinian aid seekers have been killed and 5,666 have been wounded.
