Damascus: A Syrian soldier has been injured in an Israeli airstrike near the capital Damascus, AFP reported on Monday.
As per reports Syria’s air defenses earlier had intercepted hostile targets in the Damascus area, without further details.
The Israeli enemy used missiles in the attack sent from the occupied Golan Heights injuring a soldier and causing material damage.
Israeli Strike Near Damascus Injure Syrian Soldier
According to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) Israeli missiles hit at least three sites including depots and military sites of Hezbollah.
It said sites had been targeted in the Kiswah area while another was targeted in south of Damascus.
Israel has launched hundreds of air strikes on Syria, primarily targeting Hezbollah fighters as well as Syrian army positions during more than a decade of civil war in the country.
