AFP cited the statement of Yair Lapid as saying “And now Gaza. It’s time to finish it there too. Bring back the hostages, end the war”.
Similarly, Yair Golan, a leader of the centre-left Democrats Party, has also urged the government to follow the announced Iran ceasefire by agreeing a truce in Gaza, Al-Jazeera reported.

Reuters reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel has agreed to Trump’s proposal for ceasefire with Iran.
US President Donald Trump has announced ceasefire in effect and says “please do not violate it”.
Trump took to Truth Social to announce that a ceasefire he claimed to have brokered hours earlier is now in effect. “The ceasefire is now in effect. Please do not violate it!” he said.
Earlier, Trump has announced that a ceasefire has been “fully agreed” between Israel and Iran, stating that hostilities in what he terms “The 12-Day War” will cease within 24 hours.
