TEL AVIV: Israeli forces has found the bodies of three hostages from the Gaza Strip, chief military spokesperson Daniel Hagari said on Friday.
The three bodies identified as Shani Louk, Amit Buskila and Yitzhak Gelernter, who he said were killed by Hamas while escaping the Nova music festival on October 7 and their dead bodies were taken into Gaza.
The military did not share immediate details on where their bodies were found.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lauded the military operation on Friday and reiterated a commitment to return all the hostages.
“We will bring back all our hostages, whether they are alive or dead,” he said in a statement.
Israel claims around 100 hostages are still captive in Gaza, along with the bodies of around 30 more.
According to Gaza health authorities Israel has since launched an air, ground and sea assault on the blockaded Palestinian territory, killing more than 35,000 Palestinians.
