RAMALLAH: Israeli forces shot dead three innocent Palestinians in separate incidents across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, as violence continues to surge in the region during the ongoing Israeli brutalities in Gaza, the Palestinian health ministry said.
The ministry reported that the victims, aged between 29 to 31, were martyred by Israeli forces at dawn in separate localities. The shooting incidents occurred in Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah, in Nablus’s Askar refugee camp, and in Tubas, a town further north.
The Israeli military stated that the confrontations happened during different actions carried out by their forces.
Israeli Forces’ Brutalities Against Palestinian Civilians in West Bank
The West Bank, occupied by Israel since the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, frequently witnesses Israeli military brutalities against Palestinian civilians. The recent escalation in violence has led to a significant number of Palestinian casualties. Since the outbreak of hostilities on October 7, more than 110 Palestinian civilians and one Israeli have lost their lives in the West Bank.
