ANKARA: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has suggested an international peace conference to end the Palestine-Israel war, Turkish media reported on Tuesday.

Crimes Against Humanity in Gaza

The international conference, with the participation of all parties, would be the most suitable forum for peace, he told the media in Ankara. Erdogan explained that in order to stop the current massacre in Gaza, which is under the barbaric Israeli bombing since the October 7, a truce should be declared first, followed by a path to long-lasting peace.

Erdogan said Israel, with the support of Europe and US, is committing crimes against humanity in Gaza for the last 25 days.

He said that the perpetrators of the war crimes in the Gaza Strip are held answerable. Criticizing the world’s approach to Israel-Palestine war, President Erdogan said the European Union could not even call for a truce, let alone condemn Israel.

“Global media organizations, even though about 34 of their colleagues have been killed in the Gaza Strip, cannot utter a single critical sentence,” he added, referring to the killings of journalists covering the war in Gaza.
