GAZA: The Israeli military has said it struck a Hamas target in a Gaza refugee camp that the Palestinian health ministry said killed or injured dozens late Monday, Western media reported.
A spokesperson for the military said the strike targeted Hamas in Gaza’s Al-Shati camp along the Mediterranean coastline. The spokesperson did not share any further details.
Gaza health ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra in a statement on Facebook said children and women are also among the casualties in the Israeli attack included.

Palestinian media reported that five people were killed in the strike.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Health Ministry has announced that the total death toll from the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Gaza has reached 5,087.
This staggering number includes 2,055 children, 1,119 women, and 217 elders. Additionally, 15,273 people have been injured in the relentless Israeli attacks, leaving the Gaza Strip in a state of devastation and mourning.
