PESHAWAR: A wanted terrorist was killed during an exchange of fire with the security forces in the Hilal Khel area of Bajaur tribal district, the military media wing ISPR said in a press release on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on the night of 15/16 November 2022, a fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists in the general area of Hilal Khel, Bajaur District.
“During the intense exchange of fire, one terrorist got killed. Weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist,” ISPR stated.
ISPR stated that the killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.
“However, during the intense exchange of fire, Naik Taj Muhammad (age 33 years, resident of Kohat) and Lance Naik Imtiaz Khan (age 30 years, resident of Malakand), having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat,” ISPR said in a press release.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
