RIYADH: Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Major General Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi has launched the secure digital transformation plan and the unified digital platform at the organization’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The initiatives focus on protected and secure digital automation in cyberspace. The coalition’s Information Technology department has said that secure digital transformation consisted of application of innovative procedures and policies formulated to protect sensitive data and information from cyber threats, according to Arab News.
These policies and procedures include the development of data encryption and protection systems, in addition to training staff on digital security and increasing awareness about cyber risks.
The department said that the digital platform is considered a technical infrastructure as it has been designed to provide a unified system for different digital services. It allows the integration of data and information from multiple sources and gives users a unified interface to access different digital services, such as technical, e-government and logistical, and administrative services, etc.
Easier acces to digital services
The platform enables people to easily access and interact with digital services while also boosting their effectiveness, lowering expenfditures and improving the interaction and communication between service providers and users.
Al-Moghedi said that the platform and the plan came as part of an initiative launched for promoting digital transformation at the coalition’s headquarters.
He added that the focus was also on the promotion of effective and safe use of digital technology and the improvement of integration among various digital systems and services.
