ISLAMABAD: Once overlooked in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 draft, Sahibzada Farhan has transformed rejection into redemption. After going unpicked by any franchise, he rose to become the highest run-scorer of the calendar year.
Now, making the most of his late entry with Islamabad United, Farhan has stormed to the top of the run charts in the ongoing PSL season 10—proving that form finds its way, with or without a spotlight.
Hailing from Charsadda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 29-year-old Sahibzada Farhan has lit up PSL 10 with a bat blazing in form and flair.
In just four matches and as many innings, he’s piled up 214 runs at an average of 53.50. His campaign so far includes a sensational century (106) and a fiery fifty, powered by 25 crisp boundaries and 11 towering sixes.
With a strike rate of 165.89, Farhan isn’t just scoring runs—he’s doing it with style, swagger, and serious intent, knocking doors of the selection committee to play for Pakistan.

Talking to journalists, Sahibzada Farhan shared his ambition to earn a long-term spot in the Pakistan national team, not just a brief call-up.
“I want to return and stay, not just play one or two matches,” he said.
Farhan’s red-hot form in the National T20 Cup, where he scored 605 runs with three centuries and two fifties, laid the foundation for his PSL 10 success.
Initially snubbed in the PSL 10 draft, Islamabad United picked him in the supplementary category— a decision now paying off.
“I’ve proven I’m not just a domestic player,” he said. “PSL performances show I can deliver under pressure.”
He credited captain Agha Salman for tactical tips and thanked his coaches for helping fine-tune his technique.
Focused on breaking T20 century records this year, Farhan said, “One or two good innings aren’t enough—I’m always aiming higher.”
In a format where star power often steals the limelight, Sahibzada Farhan is proving that grit, grind, and domestic dominance still have their place at the top.
Ten innings deep, he’s unleashed nearly 800 runs, hammered 56 sixes, and maintained a strike rate that sets scoreboards ablaze—all while flying under the radar.
