Usman Khan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has accused the Islamabad deputy commissioner of endangering the life of party chief Imran Khan by barring his helicopter from landing in Islamabad.
The Islamabad administration has refused to allow Imran Khan’s helicopter to land at the Parade Ground on November 26 before he proceeds to Rawalpindi.
Taking to the media outside the Allama Iqbal Park in Rawalpindi, Umar said that the Islamabad deputy commissioner and the federal government will be responsible if anything happened to Imran Khan and asked what from where he was getting instructions.
The PTI leader said that the helicopter of Imran Khan would land at the Parade Ground and questioned who was the deputy commissioner to deny permission when the General Headquarters has raised no objection to the landing of the chopper.
