ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday rejected the impression of the economic crisis in the country and said that the Government is capable to pay all foreign loans and dues.
Ishaq Dar rejects reports of shortage of petroleum products
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the Finance Minister said that some elements are spreading fake news about financial crises in the country. He termed all news regarding the financial crisis as rumors and baseless.
Euro Bonds: Pakistan will issue payment by December.
Ishaq Dar added that Pakistan has all arrangements regarding Sukuk bonds and Euro bonds. He said that Pakistan will issue payments for Euro bonds in the first week of December.
The Finance Minister rejected rumors about the shortage of Petroleum products stock and clarified that there is enough stock to fulfill the country’s requirements. The Finance Minister further said that unfortunately, such rumors discourage the international community to come for investing in Pakistan.
He requested media and other outlets to counter such rumors and propaganda for the sake of the country.
