ISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Friday discharged 85,500 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 91,500 cusecs.
According to IRSA’s data, the water level in the River Indus at Tarbela Dam measured 1421.23 feet, marking a surplus of 23.21 feet above its dead level of 1,398 feet. Water inflow and outflow from the dam were reported as 20,800 cusecs and 30,000 cusecs, respectively.
At Mangla Dam, the water level in the River Jhelum registered at 1098.10 feet, exceeding its dead level of 1,050 feet by 48.15 feet. Inflows and outflows were recorded as 33,200 cusecs and 18,000 cusecs, respectively. —APP
