BAGHDAD: The Iraq-based Islamic resistance announced on Sunday that it was responsible for bombing two American bases in Syria. The attack, carried out using drones, was described as a response to the ongoing resistance against the American occupation in Iraq and the broader region, as well as a reaction to “Zionist carnages in Gaza.”

The targeted bases were identified as being located in the al-Omar oil field and al-Khadhra Village. The Iraqi resistance, which has been actively opposing the American presence in the region, emphasized its commitment to resisting occupiers.

In a previous statement, the Iraqi resistance also claimed responsibility for targeting the US Khrab al-Jeer base in Hasaka, located in northeast Syria, using missiles.
