Iraqi PM Inaugurates International Fair in Baghdad with Saudi Participation

BAGHDAD:  The Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, has inaugurated the 47th edition of the Baghdad International Fair featuring Saudi Arabia as the guest of honor, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

According to the SPA, the event witnessed substantial participation from Arab and foreign states, alongside international companies.

Al-Sudani, in his opening speech, thanked Saudi Arabia for its extensive support and participation in Iraq.

He emphasized Iraq’s commitment to engaging in a phase of reconstruction and economic development, with an aim to establish crucial partnerships with Arab and friendly countries in the near future.

Simultaneously, during the fair’s launch, Iraqi Minister of Trade, Atheer Al-Ghurairi, praised the participation of Saudi Arabia as the guest of honor and appreciated Kingdom’s support and substantial involvement.

He stressed the significant collaborative opportunities across various domains between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
