Iran’s Missile Attacks on Israel Spur Celebrations in Iran, Iraq, Gaza

TEHRAN:  Following a ballistic missile attack by Iran on Israel on Tuesday, crowds took to the roads and streets in Tehran, Beirut and Gaza to celebrate the targeting of key objectives in Israel.

According to Israeli media 100 to 400 missiles had been launched by Iran. Iranian media also reported that most missiles hit their intended targets, sparking widespread joy among the people.

Iranian media reported that in Tehran and other cities across Iran, people poured out of their houses to mark the occasion.  The Iranian public also chanting slogans against Israeli government.

Social media footage showed Palestinian people in the Gaza also celebrating the missile strikes, further highlighting the impact of the event in the entire region.  Al Jazeera reported that Iran’s missile attacks on Israel spur celebrations in many parts of Iraq.
