TEHRAN, Iran: In Tehran, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, met with the Spokesman for Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement, Mohammad Abdul-Salam.
The discussions centred around mutual interests and regional security, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the two nations.
Ahmadian praised the resilience of the Yemeni people and government, acknowledging their support for Palestine in the face of Israeli aggression.
Yemen has openly expressed solidarity with Palestine, particularly in the wake of Israel’s military campaign against Gaza. The Yemeni armed forces have conducted missile and drone attacks on Israeli positions and targeted Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea.
The meeting highlighted the ongoing cooperation and shared commitment to addressing regional challenges.
