Iranian President Strongly Condemns Israeli Attack on Gaza Hospital

TEHRAN: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has strongly denounced the barbaric attack by the Israeli occupation forces at a hospital in Gaza that claimed the lives of hundreds of people.

President Raisi in a post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter said the flames of the American-Israeli bombs that were dropped on the oppressed Palestinians at Gaza’s hospital would soon devour Zionists.

Iran declares public mourning

The Iranian government has already declared public mourning on Wednesday following the brutal Israeli attack.

The Gaza health ministry has confirmed that at least 500 innocent Palestinian civilians, including women and children, have been martyred in a brutal Israeli airstrike on al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the besieged Gaza strip.

It is pertinent to mention that despite diplomatic efforts to open a corridor with Egypt, humanitarian aid for Gaza remains stranded at its borders. Hospitals in Gaza are on the verge of collapse due to severe shortages of basic supplies.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has strongly condemned the heinous crime carried out by Israeli occupation troops in their shelling of Al-Ahli Baptist hospital in Gaza.

Additionally, Riyadh stresses the immediate need to open safe passages, in reply to the calls for help made by nations and organizations, to provide food and medicine to the civilian population in Gaza.

Meanwhile Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi also condemned the brutal Israeli attack.
