TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral relations with Switzerland.
Pezeshkian sent a message to his Swiss counterpart, President Viola Amherd, to extend his congratulations on Switzerland’s national day.
In his message, Pezeshkian praised the long-standing diplomatic ties between the two nations, which have spanned nearly a century.
He described this historical and friendly relationship as a valuable foundation for future collaboration.
The Iranian President urged both countries to develop new strategies for cooperation, grounded in mutual interests and respect.
He expressed hope that Iran and Switzerland would build on their partnership by creating a new roadmap for enhanced cooperation.
