TEHRAN, Iran: Iran resumed flights on Thursday after a brief suspension due to its missile attack on Israel. The Islamic republic had launched 200 missiles on Tuesday evening in its second direct attack on Israel.

For security reasons, all flights were grounded until 5:00 am Thursday.

Jafar Yazarloo, Iran’s Civil Aviation Organisation spokesman, confirmed the resumption after the restrictions were lifted.

The EU Aviation Safety Agency has advised European airlines to avoid Iranian airspace until October 31, while similar warnings have been issued for Israel and Lebanon.
