Addressing the Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh last month, hosted by Saudi Arabia in response to the dire situation in the Gaza Strip, Raisi accused Israel of using internationally banned weapons and violating international humanitarian laws in Gaza.

According to the health ministry in Gaza more than 15,523 innocent Palestinians have been brutally killed in the ongoing relentless Israeli military bombardments in the Gaza Strip since the commencement of violence on October 7.
