TEHRAN: Iran has carried out attacks on several key targets at United States military bases in the Gulf region, claimed a senior official from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
IRGC Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri said Iranian naval forces launched multiple waves of strikes against US bases, including Al Dhafra Air Base, Sheikh Isa Air Base, and Al Udeid Air Base, according to reports from the Tehran Times.

US Centcom says executed ‘large-scale precision strike’ on Iran’s Kharg Island
At the same time, United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that US forces conducted a “large-scale precision strike” on Kharg Island.
According to the command, the operation targeted Iranian naval mine storage facilities, missile bunkers, and several other military sites.
More than 90 Iranian military targets were reportedly struck, while oil export infrastructure on the island was left intact.

2 India-bound ships cross Strait of Hormuz: shipping ministry
Meanwhile, maritime activity continues cautiously in the region. Two Indian-flagged tankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) safely crossed the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil transit routes.
Rajesh Kumar Sinha, special secretary at Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (India), confirmed the vessels crossed the strait early in the morning and are currently heading toward western Indian ports.
Israeli defence minister says war with Iran entering ‘decisive phase’
The escalating conflict has also drawn strong statements from Israeli officials. Israel Katz, Israel’s defence minister, said the war with Iran is entering a “decisive phase.”
He praised the US operation and said the international effort against Tehran, led by Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, will continue as long as necessary.
“The global and regional struggle against Iran, led by US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is escalating and entering the decisive phase that will continue as long as necessary,” Katz told military top brass in a televised statement.
Iraq says working to seek alternatives to Strait of Hormuz
Amid rising tensions, Iraq has begun exploring alternative routes for oil exports as shipments through the Strait of Hormuz remain suspended.
The Iraqi oil ministry said maintenance work is underway to restore the pipeline connecting Kirkuk with the Turkish export terminal at Ceyhan, which could provide an alternative route for crude exports.

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence announced that its air defence systems intercepted nine ballistic missiles and 33 drones on March 14.
According to the ministry, since the conflict began, the United Arab Emirates has detected and responded to a total of 294 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and around 1,600 drones targeting the country.
