ISLAMABAD: Iran expressed its appreciation for Pakistan and other countries during a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) emergency session convened to address recent Israeli aggression against Iran.
Iran thanked in the Security Council, especially Pakistan, China, Algeria, and the Russian Federation, for their support in holding this emergency meeting to discuss Israel’s illegal aggression against Iran.

In its remarks to the Council, Iran specifically thanked Pakistan, China, Algeria, and the Russian Federation for their support in calling the emergency meeting. The session was held to discuss what Iran described as “Israel’s illegal aggression against Iran.”
Regional stability at risk
Iranian representative Amir-Saeid Iravani emphasised that the backing of these countries was instrumental in bringing international attention to the strikes, which Tehran claims violate international law and threaten regional stability.
The meeting followed Israeli military strikes targeting Iranian nuclear and military facilities, prompting widespread concern, condemnations and diplomatic responses across the region and beyond.
