TEHRAN, Iran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called on Iranian officials to assess how best to demonstrate Iran’s strength in response to recent Israeli airstrikes targeting Iranian military installations.
Referring to Israel’s actions as “evil,” Khamenei stressed that while the impact should neither be downplayed nor exaggerated, an appropriate demonstration of Iranian power should be carefully planned, prioritizing national interest and stability reports IRNA, Iran’s official news agency.
The Israeli military reported that its jets conducted three waves of strikes, aiming at missile production sites near Tehran and other areas in western Iran.

However, Iran downplayed the attack, stating it resulted in only minimal damage. Meanwhile, U.S. President Joe Biden urged for restraint, highlighting concerns about escalating tensions in the region and the potential for further conflict.
