ISLAMABAD: International weightlifter of China Lyu Xiaojun has been suspended from international competition, as he remained 3-time Olympic and 5-time world champion and thrice Olympic champion owing to be tested positive for using a banned substance.
He lifted the gold medal in the 77 Kilograms weight category competition in 2022. Lyu, who won an 81kg title at Tokyo 2020, tested positive for erythropoietin during an out-of-competition test in October.
