ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister of Pakistan Rana Sana Ullah has said that the federal government can enforce Governor rule in the Punjab province of Pakistan on the advice of the Governor Punjab.
Governor rule in Punjab can remain for two months or maybe for another four months, Sana Ullah said while talking to media on Thursday. He said Chief Minister Punjab Ch Pervaiz Elahi did not take the confidence vote on the direction of Governor Punjab and added Pervaiz Elahi is no more a chief minister.” He said Elahi now cannot dissolve the Provincial Assembly of Punjab.
“PTI wants to create a political crisis”
Rana Sana Ullah said that PTI wants to dissolve the Provincial Assembly for their ego and hell bent to create a constitutional crisis. He said the Governor can anytime, direct the Chief Minister to take the vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly.
