LAHORE: A local anti-terrorism court Wednesday extended the interim bails of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan in the May 9 arson and violence cases till December 9.
On the other hand, former PTI minister Asad Umar and former MNA Zain Qureshi did not appear in the court as they submitted an application for exemption from appearance. The court accepted their applications.
Judge Arshad Javed heard the pleas of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan for the bail extension in the May 9 cases. The investigation officer told the court that the suspects were not joining the investigation, which was not complete yet. He asked for more time to do so.
