JAKARTA: Indonesia has called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the immediate implementation of all of its resolutions regarding Palestine, as it strongly condemned deadly Israeli assaults in the occupied West Bank, Arab media reported on Tuesday.

As many as 11 Palestinians were killed and more than 100 wounded after Israel launched an offensive and strikes on Jenin city on Monday.
Indonesia was among the latest country to react to the Israeli violence, after widespread condemnation from across the Arab and Muslim world.
“Indonesia strongly condemns the Israeli army assault in city of Jenin. The army attack is not acceptable and only worsens the humanitarian situation in the region and also complicates peace efforts,” in a statement the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
It added that the UNSC must immediately take a strong stance to executive all UNSC resolutions consistently.”
Earlier, Palestinian authorities said that as many as eleven people have been killed in the recent aggression of Israel against the city of Jenin.
On Tuesday evening, the Palestinian Ministry for Health Affairs confirmed that a young person from Jenin was killed by Israeli forces.
The populated refugee camp in Jenin, home to more than 14,000 people, has been one of the central points of a fresh wave of violence that has swept the region for more than a year, resulting in increasing global alarm.
According to the Arab News, East Jerusalem and the West Bank declared a strike to denounce Israel’s aggression and to mourn the dead people.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Ministry of Foreign Affairs also strongly condemned on Tuesday Israel’s escalation and aggression in occupied Palestinian territories and against the city of Jenin.
Riyadh confirmed the KSA’s complete rejection of the grave violations committed by the Israeli army, expressing deep condolences to the victims’ families and to the people and government of Palestine. It also wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
