ISLAMABAD:  India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has departed for his five-country trip. Indian media reported that over the next eight days, he will be visiting Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia.

“Over the next few days, I will be attending various bilateral, multilateral and other programmes in Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia. Looking forward to interacting with world leaders and discussing ways to make our planet better,” Indian media cited a statement of Modi as saying.

“The last stop”

CNBC reported that Modi will visit Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro to attend the BRICS summit on July 6 and 7.

Indian media reported that the first stop in this five-country tour is Ghana. After Ghana, he is set to visit Trinidad and Tobago. After this, Modi will head to Argentina on the invitation of President Javier Milei.

From Argentina, Modi will depart for Brazil to attend the BRICS 2025 Summit. The last stop on the tour is in Namibia.
