SRINAGAR: Indian troops have martyred four Kashmiri youths during cordon and search operations in the Kulgam district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) as the occupation forces have intensified the ongoing brutalities against innocent Kashmiri people.
According to details from the Kashmir Media Service, the tragic incident took place in the Mudergham and Frisal Chinnigan areas of Kulgam district, where Indian security forces conducted intensive search operations. The youth were targeted and killed during these operations, marking yet another flashpoint in the region’s tumultuous history of conflict.
Earlier, in the Mudergham area of Kulgam, the Indian army heightened security measures and launched operations. The operations in the affected areas continued unabated as of the latest reports, with local officials and security personnel maintaining a heavy presence to enforce the cordon and search operations.
Meanwhile, Indian troops initiated another cordon and search operation (CASO) in the Frisal area of Kulgam district. This operation, carried out jointly by police, the Indian army, and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, remained ongoing at the time of the latest updates.
