MUMBAI, India: Bollywood star Kiara Advani has reportedly stepped down from the eagerly awaited Don 3 following the announcement of her pregnancy with husband Sidharth Malhotra.
According to Indian media reports the actress, who was confirmed to play the female lead in the action film alongside Ranveer Singh, made the decision to focus on her personal life as she prepares for motherhood.
Kiara Advani’s departure from the film was confirmed as a mutual decision between the actress and the makers of Don 3.
This comes shortly after she revealed her pregnancy on March 1, 2025, sharing the happy news with her fans on social media.
In an Instagram post, Kiara and Sidharth shared a picture of tiny baby socks, captioned “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon.”
The announcement received love from fans and fellow Bollywood stars, including Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Kiara Advani was officially confirmed as the female lead for Don 3 in February 2024, sparking excitement among fans.
Directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment, the film is set to be the final instalment of the iconic Don franchise, with Ranveer Singh taking over from Shah Rukh Khan as the new Don.
