ISLAMABAD: Indian television actor Vivian Dsena recently revealed that he has embraced Islam, in an interview with the Times of India. The actor, who was born Christian, said that he started following Islam during the holy month of Ramadan in 2019, and finds a lot of peace and solace in praying five times a day.
In addition to his new religious affiliation, Dsena also opened up about his second marriage to former journalist Nouran Aly, and their four-month-old daughter, Layan Vivian Dsena. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Egypt around a year ago, and Dsena said that becoming a father has been a dream come true.

However, the actor expressed his desire to keep his personal and professional lives separate, and noted that he is extremely protective of his family.
Dsena was previously married to actor Vahbiz Dorabjee, and his divorce from her was finalized in 2021.
Dsena made his debut in 2008 with the television show Kasamh Se, and has since been a part of various popular serials such as Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, among others. His most recent show, Sirf Tum, concluded in September 2022.
The actor’s decision to embrace Islam has been met with support and admiration from his fans, who have praised him for his commitment to his faith and his family.
