SRINAGAR: Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Shabbir Ahmed Shah on Tuesday strongly condemned the continued bloodbath of innocent Kashmiris at the hands of Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
In his message from Tihar Jail in India, Shabir Shah, while referring to the martyrdom of two Kashmiri youths in Pulwama district, said that the targeted killing of educated youth was part of the Indian regime’s policy to keep the situation boiling, according to Kashmir Media Service.
He said that it seems that the BJP government wanted to keep the Kashmir pot boiling so that it could conveniently push forward its Hindutva agenda.
Indian Government’s Sledgehammer Policy Against Kashmiris
He said that the incumbent government’s sledgehammer policy against Kashmiris has pushed the valley into a quagmire of uncertainty. The kind of a policy, he said, suits none but the ruling party that has thrived on communal frenzy and falsehood.
Shah said that it was no longer a secret that the Indian occupation troops were killing innocent civilians in staged encounters and then labelling them as foreign terrorists.
