ISLAMABAD: The much-anticipated showdown between India Champions and Pakistan Champions is back on the agenda, as India have secured a place in the semi-finals of the ongoing World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 after a crucial victory over the West Indies Champions in a must-win match at Grace Road on Tuesday.
This will mark the second time the two rivals meet in the tournament. Their initial fixture was abandoned after India declined to take the field against Pakistan.

Chasing a target of 145 runs set by the West Indies, India were required to complete the chase within 14.1 overs to advance to the knockout stage.

Spearheaded by a match-winning half-century from Stuart Binny and key support from captain Yuvraj Singh, India reached the target in just 13.2 overs, booking their spot in the semi-finals.

Pakistan topped the group stage with four wins from five matches, collecting nine points and finishing with an impressive net run rate of +2.452.
South Africa secured second place with four wins and a single defeat, while Australia finished third with two victories and two losses from five outings.
India, despite registering only one win in their four matches, advanced to the semi-finals ahead of England and the West Indies on the basis of a superior net run rate.
India and Pakistan will now face off in a high-stakes semi-final in Birmingham on 31 July. The second semi-final, featuring South Africa and Australia, will also be held on the same day and at the same venue.
