SARGODHA: Similar to other regions of the nation, Sargodha observed Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day with national enthusiasm, and the national flag-raising event took place at the Main Campus Arts Council.
Commissioner Sargodha Ajmal Bhatti, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Shahrukh Kamal Siddiqui, District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Faisal Kamran, and Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Shoaib Ali hoisted the national flag with the echoes of the national anthem and the solute by a police contingent.
The commissioner stated that everyone in the country must now contribute to the nation’s growth, given the immense sacrifices made to provide the Muslims of the Subcontinent an independent homeland. He underlined his will to ensure that the Pakistani flag always flies high.
In his speech, the DC Sargodha argued that for the next generation to pursue higher education, make a name for themselves, and have a bright future for their country, they needed to be educated with a specific emphasis on science and technology.
The RPO stated that today is the day to reaffirm the vow that we should have to play our share for the good name of our country while congratulating the people of Sargodha on Independence Day. He also urged people to fully support the government’s efforts to develop Sargodha.
The commissioner and other visitors also cut the cake. Children from numerous schools also exhibited tableaus, speeches, and songs. Shields and certificates for outstanding achievement were given to officers and employees of several departments.
