ISLAMABAD: A new audio leak of PTI chief Imran Khan has surfaced in which he was allegedly talking with Musarrat Jamshed Cheema regarding the court developments and the response of the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), local media reported on Thursday.
An alleged audio conversation between Imran Khan and PTI leader Musarrat Jamshed Cheema has surfaced online in which Imran Khan was inquiring about the latest situation.
Imran Khan’s Alleged Audio Leak Surfaces
Cheema responded to him that “they had sent a ‘message to them and we are sitting in the court now”. We demanded them to bring Khan Sahib before us, otherwise, we will not leave the court premises].”
Imran Khan asked, “Is Khawaja Haris there?” Cheema responded, “Yes, Khawaja Haris and Salman Safdar are both here with me.” The alleged audio clip of the former PM surfaced online today, just following the apex court declared Imran Khan’s arrest “illegal” minutes after Imran Khan reached Supreme Court after a three-member bench of the SC ordered the authorities to produce him before the court.
The apex court, while hearing former Prime Minister’s plea against his arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case, declared Imran Khan’s arrest as “illegal” and ordered his immediate release.
The SC ordered Imran Khan to stay at the Police Lines Guest House and directed the Islamabad police chief to ensure the ex-PM’s security. He was also directed to appear in Islamabad High Court on Friday.
