ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has taken to Twitter to express his concern over the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM), the ruling coalition of Pakistan, recent actions. In a tweet, Khan accused the PDM of using unconstitutional means to avoid participating in the upcoming elections.

Khan’s tweets came in response to the PDM’s recent introduction of a bill in the National Assembly against the judiciary and a resolution in the same house. The PDM has also called for a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) to be held tomorrow, where they, according to Khan, plan to use security concerns as a pretext to postpone the elections.

Imran Khan accuses PDM of attempts to subvert democratic process

Khan expressed his concern over the PDM’s tactics, stating that they were attempting to subvert the democratic process in the country. He also urged the armed forces to refrain from interfering in political affairs and to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law.

The PTI chairman’s tweets drew widespread support from his party members and supporters, who echoed his sentiments. They criticized the PDM’s actions and accused them of using unconstitutional means to achieve their goals.

The situation remains tense, with both the PDM and the opposition at loggerheads over the future of the country. With the NSC meeting scheduled for tomorrow, the nation waits with bated breath to see what the outcome will be.
